Friday March 15th – 17th

4th Annual Tree Replanting Party

Great news campers – we have the green light from The US Forest Service to come back for the 4th Annual Tree Replanting Party near Camp Tuolumne!

Saturday March 16, 2019   8am – 3pm at Rush Creek Lodge

3 years ago we started with 6 volunteers. Last year we had over 140 join the effort to replant the Rim Fire Recovery Area. The USFS will get us as close to camp as we can get, but it won’t be inside of camp of course. Last year we planted 3000 trees in one day. This year we will aim for 5000!!

We stay at the beautiful Rush Creek Lodge next door to Camp Tuolumne, and just outside Yosemite on Friday and Saturday nights last year, with great food, cocktails, hot tubs, etc… it is a fabulous get-a-way weekend! They are once again generously supporting our efforts, and offering us a 50% discount, which can be used for Lodge King Rooms and Villas.

Monday May 13th  “The Future of Camp Tuolumne”

The Berkeley Rep Theater

The “Future of Camp Tuolumne” is a night we’ve all been waiting for since 2013!

What will camp look like when we return? When will we return? How will it be different, and what will feel the same? How can we help bring back the Camp we love?? Will there be any trees, what about the stone showers, has the river changed at all, what will the tents look like, etc.. etc..

Tonight, we will get to answer all those questions and more.

Hosted by The Friends of Berkeley Tuolumne Camp, along with the City Staff and the design team of Siegel and Strain, we will present the final drawings and plans for the new Camp Tuolumne for the very first time!

This will be an evening dedicated to getting the latest information regarding the rebuilding of Camp. You will receive the current timeline for the next few years and have the chance to ask questions directly to the rebuilding Project Manager, design team, as well as the City Staff.

FOBTC will be kicking off our Capital Campaign to support what insurance will not cover, and we are excited to share with you the opportunities for how you can get involved!
