Tuolumne Song

There’s no place like camp Tuolumne,
There’s no spot that I would rather be,
The swimming fine, the meals are great!
Those who come their joys relate,
So come again, to fish to swim to rest,
Or to go, to points of interest,
And so my friends, the fun is here,
At Tuolumne

(slowly!)
Lullaby and goodnight
May roses be tied,
May lilies be spread, over babies sweet head,
Lay me down, now and rest,
May your slumber be blessed
Lay me down, now and rest,
May your slumber be blessed

Lullaby and goodnight, hear the tall pine trees sighing,
Friendly faces all a glow,
As our campfire burns low
We will miss you they say,
When you’ve all gone away
May God haste in the day, when you pass again our way

Day is done, gone the sun
From the trees, from the streams, from the sky
All is well, safely rest,
Camp is night

Now run along home and jump into bed,
Say your prayers don’t cover your head
The very last thing I’ll say onto you,
Is you dream of me,
And I’ll dream of you
Goodnight!

I love the Flowers

I love the flowers, I love the daffodils
I love the mountains,
I love the rolling hills
I love the fireside, when all the lights are low,
Boom diada, boom diada, boom diada, boom diada, boom

Canoe Song

Just a boy and a girl in a little canoe with the moon shining all around,
They pulled their paddles so, they couldn’t even hear a sound
And they talked and they talked ‘til the moon grew dim,
He said give me a kiss or get out and swim
So what cha going to do in a little canoe with the moon shining all a round

So bring back my bonnie to me
Bring back, bring back,

Bear Hunt

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Look up ahead it’s a gate
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’re going to have to go through it
(gate noise)

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Look up ahead it’s a field
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’re going to have to go through it
(field noises)

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Look up ahead it’s a marsh
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’re going to have to go through it
(Marsh noises)

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Look up ahead it’s a tree
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’re going to have to go through it
(climbing tree noises)

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Look up ahead it’s a cave
Can’t go over it
Can’t go under it
Can’t go around it
I guess we’re going to have to go through it
(walk into cave, feel out bear, run, go through all space noises)

We’re going on a bear hunt
Going to catch a big one
I’m not afraid
Well… maybe just a little.

Bear Song (Repeat after me song, kind of…)

The other day I went up there and while up there I met a bear
The other day I went up there and while up there I met a bear (sung)
He looked at me, I looked at him, he sized down me, I sized up him
He looked at me, I looked at him, he sized down me, I sized up him (sung)
Said mister bear, you’d better run cause I can see you ain’t got no gun
Said mister bear, you’d better run cause I can see you ain’t got no gun (sung)
And so I ran away from there, but right behind, me was that bear
And so I ran away from there, but right behind, me was that bear (sung)

In front of me, there was a tree
OH GLORY BEE!
OH WHAT A TREE!
In front of me, there was a tree OH GLORY BEE! OH WHAT A TREE! (sung)
The lowest branch, was ten feet up, I’d have to jump, and test my luck
The lowest branch, was ten feet up, I’d have to jump, and test my luck (sung)
And so I jumped, into the air, but I missed that branch, oh way up there
And so I jumped, into the air, but I missed that branch, oh way up there (sung)
Now don’t you fret, and don’t you frown, cause I caught that branch, on the way back down
Now don’t you fret, and don’t you frown, cause I caught that branch, on the way back down (sung)
That is the end, there is no more, until I meet, that bear once more
That is the end, there is no more, until I meet, that bear once more (sung)

Donut Song

Well I ran around the corner and I ran around the block and I ran right into a donut shop and I picked up a donut right out of the grease and I handed the lady a five cent piece.

Well she looked at the nickel and she looked at me and she said this nickel is no good you see, there’s a hole in the middle and it goes right through and I said there’s a hole in the donut too. Thanks for the donut, so long. (Faster!)
